The Best First Time

Since I was a kid, I already imagined what my life would be when I go to college. I pictured out in my mind what profession would I choose. And now that I am already a college student, I have decided what course will fit my capabilities. And it is taking up the education course because it is what my heart says and also I want to continue what my parents had when they are going to retire in their profession. And that is my goal for my dream.

In my first day as  college student I felt mixed emotions, excited and nervous. I thought we have just the same age with my classmates and the same course but some of them were much older than me and we are from different courses. And from that, I met new circle of friends. Even though a semester is just four months, but from that period of time there were many things that happened to us, good or bad. Our best time together with my close friends was happened during our field trip in our Art1 subject. even though we've just met each other, we feel like we're friends for a long time. They're the best friends I ever had in my life.We're so happy at that time because we are together for the whole day in our field trip and we enjoyed it because all of us we're first timers in Eden Nature Park. We have learned many things about the places we've been through, especially in the museums. I've learned about the history of Davao City in Davao Museum and after that we went to Kublai Museum. I thought that it was just a museum but I found out that it's Kublai Khan's house and at the same time his own museum. After I saw his masterpieces it was just that time that I appreciated works of art, because before that, I really don't care about arts and I don't know how to appreciate it. But during that time, I discovered that there is really a beauty in art. After going to the museums our teacher let us go to SM. After that we went home bringing smile in our faces. A wonderful experience with my friends. And also one of my favorite part in my first semester is during my 16th birthday. When my classmates saw me they immediately greeted me. I thought they forgot about it that's why I'm so happy that they remembered it. And also in that day is our debate in our NatSci1 subject. Even though our section did not won it we are still relieved because we're successful in our intermission number. After that, we went to canteen and treat my close friends. While we  were eating they gave me a birthday gift and I'm so happy because it's the first time that my friends game a gift during my birthday. But experiences was not only happy moments, my friends had misunderstanding and we did not talk for almost a month, but we realized that we should settle our problem with each other because it is not good to have enemies.

From that semester I've learned many things because of that experiences. It makes our friendship stronger and hard to broke apart.

Aside from friendship experiences, I also learned a lot from my teachers. I thought that college teachers was very strict and not friendly towards their students. But I was wrong because our teachers in SMCT was very friendly and approachable. I've learned a lot from their lessons and I live it in my daily life. I hope that I will have more of these in the next semesters in my college life.
